Guanaja is a place where you can escape the hussle and bussle of today's modern marketplace. Posada Del Sol has no cars, no telephones, or televisions.

Posada del Sol (The Inn of the Sun, in Spanish) is on the other side of the island. It was built in Spanish-style with stucco walls and a red tile roof. The rooms are altogether like a hotel, arranged facing the swimming pool. Here the dining room is formal.

Posada del Sol has two dive boats and can arrange Deep Sea Fishing or Fly Fishing for up to six fishermen. A tennis court and weight room are available for those not exhausted by other activities. Some guests choose to tour Bonacca or the nearby town of Savannah Bight.

Along with worldclass fishing and diving, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, or simply the sun by the pool.
