The hotel is situated in western Costa Rica, on Playa Tambor Beach on the Nocoya peninsula, in the province of Punteras. It is situated in a lush natural setting, surrounded by several natural reserves such as the prestigious Cabo Blanco park.

Costa Rica has two international airports: Juan Santamaría in Ajuela, a town close to San José; and Danuel Oduber Quirós in Liberia, in the province of Guanacaste.

There is also a domestic airport at Pavas, San José. Costa Rica has six ports for visitors by sea: Limón and Moín on the Caribbean, Puerto Caldera and Punta Arenas on the Mid-Pacific coast and Golfito and Quepos on the South Pacific coast.
