Resort Overview Situated on the finest stretch of Barbados’ Platinum (West) Coast, Colony Club is a 4 ½ Star timeless retreat restored from a former private Colonial Club. Its sophisticated ambiance extends to all 96 tastefully appointed guestrooms and suites. Four lagoon style swimming pools meander through seven acres of tropical, palm-filled gardens. Its location is just 40 minutes from Grantley Adams International Airport and 20 minutes from Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados.

Dining & Entertainment The Laguna Restaurant, Colony Club’s signature restaurant specializes in continental and seafood fares and also plays host to several Theme dinners per week (vary by season). This restaurant offers a true culinary experience in a covered open-air setting with views of the hotel’s tropical gardens, lagoon pools and ocean beyond.
Breakfast is served 7:30am – 10:00am Lunch is served 12:30pm - 2:30pm Dinner seating begins at 7:00pm and final seating is at 9:30pm. (dinner reservations are recommended especially over the holiday season.)
The Orchid Room, an intimate dinner restaurant with an a la carte menu and extensive wine list featuring local cuisine (Dinner only/children over 12 years). Dinner seating begins at 7:00pm and last seating is at 9:30pm. Reservations are required as Orchid is not open daily.

The Sunset Bar, serving tropical concoctions, refreshing cocktails and light casual fare (the Deck), this bar is located on the pool/beach deck and is conveniently also a swim-up bar. Sunset Bar is open from 10am – 12 midnight and light snacks served on The Deck from 3:00pm – 9:30pm daily.
The Planters Bar, an intimate cocktail lounge that opens each evening for pre-dinner drinks. It is open daily from 6:30pm – 10:00pm (on a seasonal basis).
In-Room Dinning, room service is available daily for breakfast 7.30 AM to 10.00 AM, All day dining from 11.30 AM to 9.30 PM and Night Owl 10.30 PM to 7.00 AM.

Recreation Colony Club provides much more than just an ideal island getaway. Activities abound on and off premises. Golf Nearby The Royal Westmoreland Country Club is a definite must experience. Rated within one of the three best golf courses in the world, it offers views of an unmatched caliber. This private Par- 72 course is designed by Robert Trent- Jones Jr. and preferred t-times can be arranged for our guests. This course is a 5 minute taxi ride from Colony Club and guests benefit from our preferred tee time agreement.

Barbados Many visitors to Barbados are amazed at the number of attractions on this small island. Guided visits to many of the attractions can be arranged through the hotels’ concierge or tour operator, or you can rent a car and visit the sites on your own schedule. From long stretches of windswept beaches and hiking paths to historic plantation lands and rum distilleries, Barbados is filled with exotic hidden beauties as well as renowned gems. Take a tour through a gigantic subterranean series of caves, or visit a church draped in flowers in honour of one of our festivals.
