Captain Morgan's Retreat is located just north of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye-close enough to enjoy what San Pedro has to offer, and just far enough away for beachside tranquility.
 

After a good night's rest, turn your attention to relaxation: Swim a lap or two in the freshwater pool, or borrow a book from the library to enjoy in a poolside deck chair. The white sand beach is always available for a stroll or a jog. You can take a dip or practice your snorkeling technique off the 400' long pier.

Three times a day, you can adjourn to the Buena Vista Restaurant. Enjoy the gourmet meals. Compare notes with fellow vacationers from around the world. Chat with the Activities Director about the tours and events that are available every day.

The resort's activities director can help guests arrange tours and activities, inland or on the water. Mayan Ruins Tours to Lamanai, Altun Ha & Tikal, bicycling, swimming or even shopping in San Pedro. Reef Fishing, flat fishing, sport fishing, cave tubing, kayaking snorkeling Mexico Rocks or one of the many other great sites scuba diving, Hol Chan Marine Reserve Park, a day trip to the great Blue Hole.
