How to Get Here

From Europe: British Airways, British Caledonia, Condor and several charter services offer weekly service.  
 
From the U.S.A.:  American Airlines services Trinidad & San Juan Puerto Rico, with daily connections to Tobago on American Eagle and Air Caribbean 

From Trinidad: There are hourly flights between Trinidad & Tobago on  Air Caribbean and/or B.W.I.A., Daily Sea Ferry's are travel between Trinidad & Tobago, except Saturday, duration is approximately 5 hours. 

Car Rentals:  Widely available with agencies generally concentrated around the airport area in Crown Point, also may be arranged by the front desk at Manta Lodge.

Climate:  Tropical, average temperature is between 29-30 ºC (84-86 ºF). June to December comprise the rainy season. Rainfall during this season is usually sporadic with long periods of brilliant sunshine. 

Taxis:  All Taxi vehicular license plates begin with H and are widely available on main routes around the island and at all major Hotels. 

Currency:  The Trinidad and Tobago dollar.  Exchange rate: U.S.$1.00=approx.. T.T.$6.30, 1 Pound Sterling=approx. .T.T. $11.00. Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards are commonly accepted.
